One more call to action for "the other men" - PROTECT the people being harmed by abusive behaviors. Believe them, stand up for them, help them - even (and perhaps especially) when it's socially uncomfortable.

America's problem is man-hating feminism, which you are participating in.

How is asking men to protect people "man-hating?"

Ryan appears to be all about pointing the finger of blame at men for everything. The finger needs to be pointed at women, as well. Both sexes need to help and support each other, without dumping everything on men’s laps.

Frank's avatar

Because you are not asking women to lift a finger to help men, at the same time.

Asking one group of people for help is not hateful.

I have received four employment settlements for sex discrimination against men, because the feminists in Human Resources made no effort to hide their discrimination.

Lots of feminists say "the future is female" - which to me., sounds like they want to get rid of all the men.

Do YOU ever stand up to women like that?

This is such a good addition. Thank you for calling that out. I totally agree!

The fact that Renee Good aimed her car at an ICE agent shows disrespect - to say the least.

“Do the work of learning to tolerate that discomfort without harming others.”

Having someone aim their car at you is a lot worse than discomfort.

I really enjoyed this article, Dr. Martin. Thank you for it. I was very much an entitled man, and if I'm being honest, I probably still am in ways I probably don't see (yet). But being able to see it for what it is, how it impacted who I was (especially when compared to who I thought I was), and how it impacted the people closest to me, helped me begin to work on moving past it.

This is great stuff. Also, I really like that you said how women have to do nothing. They've been working tirelessly on this for a very long time. It's time for men to step up 💪

Agree that a big driving force behind all of this is entitlement. Yet the problem is entitlement is still socially rewarded. When a man gains something from his entitlement, that’s backed by his anger and the way he behaves, and society, including other men do nothing about it, he will continue

Feminists in Congress created ten offices for women's health, but ignored men's health. Do you actually think men are the entitled ones?

If Ryan gets prostate cancer, he will learn that feminists in Congress made sure that three times more taxpayer funds are spent on breast cancer than prostate cancer. I think he will then regret mentioning "entitled men".
